Getting caught up in talking about things is good to a point. But embodying those ideals is where the magic happens. Everyone is on their own journey, and it's time to step fully into your own.

Take a moment to think about a recent interaction. Ask yourself - what have I shown this person that is leading them to act towards me in this way? (For example, not speaking up can look like apathy, or asking questions can invite someone to want to teach and help and meddle)

Even if your words are saying one thing - they can be shrouded in actions that say the opposite. It's fascinating to see how we can betray our own thoughts in this way without realizing it! Understanding this and looking at what we are truly portraying is a huge eye opener, and really helps towards embodying what we truly intend to portray.

My story: I realize that I have held myself back from taking action and embodying anything- because I grew up with people who acted in unhealthy ways. I learned that taking action meant trying to control others - or as an unhinged animalistic response and attempt to get free from that control.

Now, I'm learning how to take smaller actions that truly embody my beliefs, and allowing action to not be a bad thing. Not anamalistic - just human. And recognizing that I don't need to take it to extremes the way others have taught me.
