Wait & Rest.

Waiting is HARD! But sometimes we are in limbo, and can't do much about it other than wait. This is time that fears and uncertainties creep in and cause us to stress, but this limbo is better used by taking the time to rest and switch gears before the next thing comes along. It's not easy to just cut off the brain and not stress, but if you're conscious of what your end goal is, you can trust that you'll see what needs doing when it comes along. In fact, it's easier to see these things if you're not stressing, and your head is clear. Is there anything you're in limbo with? Waiting on someone or something before you can act further on it? See if you can re-direct your thoughts to something else anytime you find yourself thinking of it. Practicing this helps you build trust in yourself. Trust that you can pick up those thoughts or set them down at will. Trust that you are in charge of your own mind and your thoughts. Because you are.

This one has been hard for me to allow for myself. How is it for you? How does it feel when you stop and rest. When you're in limbo and have to wait for something?

Practicing waiting and resting adds the ability to have patience to your toolbox for when you need it. Today is about recognizing how you react to having to wait and rest, and learning to sit with any discomfort and to dismiss any thoughts and feelings of "not doing enough" or "needing to do more".

Sometimes, what is needed most is to recouperate or to just sit and observe what might be coming in.
