Testing that Inner Voice

Testing that Inner Voice

It's important to test your inner voice by actually doing what it tells you to do, and observing the outcome.

It's important to recognize if you're hearing your inner voice, or to your past conditioning - habits that were formed long ago that aren't really serving you in what you want in life.

Or, maybe you have needs that are screaming at you so loud you can't hear that inner voice yet. A need for acceptance might tell you to join a group or be in a relationship that isn't aligned with your values. A need for safety and security might tell you to shut people out when you would truely love being around them. A need for peace might lead you towards the fight in an attempt to finish the war.

Check in to see what's going on for you. Then test it. If the outcome of your choice finds you still not satisfied, sit and ask yourself why not? Find the reason behind why you chose that direction so you can be more aware of when you're in an old pattern, or have needs to address first.

Then, test it again - can you find better options that are more aligned with your current self- your values and your needs?
