Silence Precedes Clarity

There is so much "noise" in the world today - information that isn't actually relevent, or it goes around and around and never really lands. It's junk food for the mind. A way to have a quick burst of dopamine or energy by triggering our emotions and can give a sense of validation through "winning" an argument, getting likes or experiencing snippits of perceived shared reality.
Detaching from this noise is hard - the distraction can be addictive. But it's worth it!
Take some time to quiet the mind, and sit in silence with the intent to refocus on one area. Make a plan to watch or create quality content that is a true reflection of you and your beliefs. This creates an anchor point in your life. A way to filter the noise and bring a long lasting sense of clarity and purpose to your life.
If you don't know what your beliefs are - just observe. Watch and wait. Use the space that's created to reflect and question what you do believe in. Taking the time to do this can feel like a step backwards in a world that is always pushing to move and get caught up in the noise. So it's hard. But this process helps bring clarity and strength to what is important to you and builds a solid foundation to work with.
