Shit happens. Anger happens. We can't avoid it.


And - we're all shitty people when we're upset and in reaction mode.

Having acceptance of this, and having some tools to handle these emotions when they do happen is really important. It can be very useful to step away and come back to it when we can think straight in order to handle things properly.

One of the best tools to have is to be working on an action plan - working on something that helps to counter the problem that's causing you the anger.


So, what is that for you? What is the thing that's bothering you? Can you find a way to change this situation? Or another similar situation?

If you can't think of anything - Dance it out! Anything that turns the anger into an action is helpful and keep it from getting stuck and becoming toxic.
