Make sure you're on the same page

Is there anything that you have never told anyone? What do you think would happen if you did share those things?

Have you asked for the things that you desire? or are you hoping that the perfect person will come along and they will be able to see deep into your soul naturally?

In order to be on the same page, and able to work together. You need to be able to be honest and open and actually communicate. Otherwise, you're living in a dream world that doesn't exist.

Take some time to write down any secrets or desires you've been keeping to yourself- even if you aren't ready to share them and want to burn them immediately - writing things out can at least help bring them out of the dark corners of your mind and help to stop them from festering there.
