We are becoming a global community. With access to any culture that we want to explore. This gives us the freedom to explore diversity. This is the age of being able to find your tribe from all over the world - being able to see that you're not alone in what you're going through. To be able to pick and choose aspects of different cultures that resonate with us. Or to be able to find different, unique ways to connect.


We no longer need to feel tied to the community we live in, which means that we don't need to conform to those around us (at least not in our inner worlds) in order to fit in and feel safe and valued and seen. The lines have been blurred - we are no longer boxed in. We can choose where we want to be.


So- explore that grey area - the space outside of the box. Wave your freak flag, and find your own unique place in this world - and have faith that it will be ok if you don't "fit in". Trust yourself that you can hold your boundaries through proactive communication when you find yourself or others trying to box you in. And don't take it personally when others do the same.
