Are you a helper? Do you ever feel under-appreciated? If so, take a moment to reflect on if you tend to act on your own and try to "surprise" people with your offerings, or if you tend to involve them in the process. I've known a lot of givers (myself included) who want to give- and do it in their own way. But without fully understanding the situation, or involving the other person and asking them if your idea is helpful - you may inadvertently be giving forks when they really need a spoon. Think of a funeral - at the time when a person might most want to have some peace, time to refleect and not have to think about what's happened - they're expected to make small talk with people and listen to condolences. So today's intention is to think on the different ways that you've been acting in the way you're "supposed to" - and reflect to see if it's really the way to act for what the other person would want- not what you want for them.
